From time to time club members will host a bee-hive box building session to help new beekeepers assemble the hives.  Come to the monthly meeting to join the club and find out about this, and other great learning opportunities!


"Build It and They Will Come" March 10th Workshop

Please join us on Saturday, March 10th from noon to 4 pm for a beehive building session. Learn many importnant skills needed to assemble your equipment and get ready for beekeeping! Kevin Duesmann will host this event in his workshop at 3555 Barber Drive in Boise. Please register below if you would like to attend this fun and informative event!

The Honey Store - April 14, 2012 at 10:30 A.M.

We will meet in the morning at The Honey Store in Fruitland to pick up your pre-ordered nucs and packages from the Noyes and enjoy a club barbecue. ORDERS FOR NUCS AND PACKAGES CAN BE TAKEN BEGINNING JANUARY 2! Nucs/$100 and Packages/$80. Receipts will be sent out by The Honey Store to those placing orders to make the prcess more clear for all concerned. If you cannot pick them up at the club meeting in Fruitland you MUST make arrangements with The Honey Store to hold your nuc/package or they will sell it to someone else. This event will also serve as the monthly meeting for April.

Idaho Green Expo - June 23rd and 24th

This fun and festive event focusing on sustainable living will be held at the Western Idaho Fairgrounds. The club will be hosting an informational booth that will be staffed with volunteers. Hopefully we will have free passes for volunteers AND their families. We will also be putting on a workshop for basic beekepping at the Expo.
