Volunteering
Volunteers enable our mission of educating our community about honey bees and beekeeping. Whether you are a beginning or experienced beekeeper, volunteering is a wonderful way to talk about honey bees and beekeeping with members of the Treasure Valley. And it means so much to them, as one testimonial below demonstrates.
Dear Garrett,
On behalf of the Collister Garden Tour, I want to extend heartfelt thanks for sharing your live hive and fascinating knowledge about bees. Your presence brought a unique and memorable dimension to the day—reminding us how essential pollinators are to both our gardens and our lives.
Guests left with a deeper appreciation for bees and their vital role in our ecosystem, thanks to your engaging presentation and willingness to answer questions. You turned curiosity into understanding, and wonder into respect.
We are so grateful for the time, effort, and expertise you brought to the event—it truly added a “buzz” of excitement to the tour!
With gratitude,
-- Claire, Chair, Collister Garden Tour
