About the TVBC

Picture
Anyone who wants to be a beekeeper can become a beekeeper with our help. We believe that educated beekeepers make better beekeepers.
The Treasure Valley Beekeepers Club (TVBC) provides a great opportunity for everyone with an interest in bees to come & gather great resources and knowledge about the honeybee. Practical knowledge, workshops and demonstrations are provided throughout the year. At every meeting, we discuss important bee topics, along with a Q & A with experienced beekeepers. Everyone is welcome!  A message from our president:

We are so happy you stopped by. Whether you are a regular member at our monthly meetings or just looking for some quick tips on beekeeping, we are happy to have you with us in this wacky world of keeping bees.

I knew at my second meeting that this club was special. I could tell by how folks interacted that nobody had an agenda, nobody thought they were better. Everyone was genuinely interested in sharing and learning and figuring out how to keep these fascinating insects, enjoy their many benefits and make the world a little better.

Our thing is education. We educate our members. We educate the community. We talked to over 50,000 people in 2024 about beekeeping. If that's your thing, we hope you'll join us.
