Do you have a swarm in your yard? If yes, please keep on reading
Please Note:
The swarm catcher lists all Beekeepers who have volunteered to attempt to collect swarms of honey bees (they are wild critters, after all). Please be courteous when you contact them. Many work full time jobs and they will return your call as quickly as possible. Start by calling a volunteer in your location from the list below.
Those on the list operate as independent contractors in this activity and do not in any way represent T.V.B.C., nor operate under its auspices or control in providing this service. Treasure Valley Beekeepers Club provides this list only as a public service and does not endorse or recommend the qualifications of any named person appearing on it. Members of the public using the list do so at their own risk. If you are a T.V.B.C. member who is capturing a swarm, please review our swarm capture policy for a list of expectations and questions to ask.

Insect Identification |
We are interested in collecting Honey Bee Swarms
and not hornet or wasp nests.
Step Two:
Your Swarm Catcher will want to know...
Step Three:
Take a breath. You have time. The bees will not attack you, and will stay in the swarm for several hours.
Instructions: Find your zip code below (or closest to you), and it will show you who to contact. Try calling the first person listed; if no one answers, leave a message. Then text the number with the word “swarm” and your name. If you don’t get a response in 15 minutes, call the next person in your zip code or the next closest zip code.
May 3 -- we're having some technical difficulty with our zip code list and are working hard on fixing it. Stay tuned. In the meantime, you can access a static copy of the list:
