BBQ - National Honey Bee Day
Where: Marianne Williams Park, 3451 E Barber Valley Dr, Boise, ID 83706 When: Friday, August 18th at 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Beef, Beer, and Bees! Come mix and mingle with your favorite Treasure Valley beeks + our special guest Dennis VanEngelsdorp, a bee expert from the University of Maryland. Tickets are $8 or two for $15. Ted Talk: A Plea for Bees

Dr. Dennis vanEngelsdorp is a professor and researcher at the University of Maryland. His research focuses on pollinator health, and honey bee health specifically. He is also on the team at the Bee Informed Partnership, which gathers survey data from thousands of beekeepers every season to understand how different management practices affect honey bees.
