Queen Cell Installation Class- Saturday, April 21st at 11:00 am Come learn how to properly install a queen cell into your existing hives. Kevin Duesmann will host this one hour session in his workshop and apiary at 3555 Barber Drive in Boise. Good morning,

This past weekend the club had two events going on simultaneously.  First, we had the “Build It” class at Kevin Duesman’s Apiary for the new beekeepers from 12 – 4:00 p.m. and about 20 folks showed up to build hive ware.  Mike Morrison came to the event and brought woodenware for those wanting to purchase and build at the event!  Kevin said the event was very successful!

Second, Doug Cleveland and Frank Grover had a hive inspection class at Doug’s apiary.  Around 30 new beekeepers showed up for this class and everyone said they had fun and learned a lot.   One family brought two of their children.  The kids were all suited up and really had a fun time learning about the bees!
